Pupil Premium
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
This is a Government initiative aimed at "narrowing the gap" in achievement between children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and other groups in school. It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium, allocated to schools per FSM pupil, is spent, since we are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils at our school.
At Halsnead Community Primary School we have higher than average numbers of children eligible for FSM.
Pupil Premium Funding is spent within the context of the overall funding agreement between the DfE and the Heath Family (NW) MAT.
